Innovate, Excel, Succeed with Our Team! The Southern Education Foundation, Inc. (SEF), located in Atlanta, Georgia seeks an outstanding candidate to fill our Operations Coordinator position to support The Center for Outcomes Based Contracting (OBC).
For 158 years, SEF has made major contributions to improving education, from early childhood education through post-secondary completion. The Opportunity:
The Center for Outcomes Based Contracting (OBC) is designed to foster partnerships between school districts and service providers, with the goal of improving student outcomes. The Operations Coordinator will support the OBC in creating outcomes based contracts with tutoring providers. This role operates in a fast-paced environment requiring excellent multitasking abilities and strong team collaboration skills. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic situations, can manage multiple competing priorities, and maintains composure under pressure while coordinating high-level meetings, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth technical operations.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Executive Support 
●       Manage complex calendar scheduling for the OBC Managing Director.
●       Draft and distribute meeting agendas for client interactions.
●       Coordinate logistics for high-level meetings and presentations.
●       Process and track expense reports and basic AP/AR documentation.
●       Plan and coordinate meetings/retreats, including:
          ○  Managing logistics and materials.
          ○  Researching and securing program venues.
          ○  Organizing follow-up activities.
          ○  Supporting virtual and in-person meeting execution.

Technical Coordination 
●      Provide technical support for virtual presentations and webinars.
●      Manage web conferencing platforms and troubleshoot issues.
●      Support team members with technological needs.
●      Ensure smooth execution of meetings.
●      Maintain and organize digital resources and materials.
●      Supporting system training and adoption.
●      Test and provide feedback on new operational systems.

Program Operations
●      Maintain organized documentation in Google Drive.
●      Support knowledge management systems and processes.
●      Manage Salesforce records and Monday.com project tracking.
●      Support data collection and reporting for grant requirements.
●      Assist with financial documentation organization.
●      Track invoices and contract deliverables.
●      Support development of standard operating procedures.
●       Perform other duties as assigned.
 
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
●       Bachelor's degree.
●       2-4 years of experience in executive support or program coordination.
●       Strong technical aptitude with virtual meeting platforms.
●       Excellent calendar management and scheduling skills.
●       Experience with data tracking and reporting.
●       Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
●       Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
●       Exceptional ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
●       Strong team player with collaborative mindset.
●       Adaptable and flexible in changing situations.
●       Maintains composure under pressure.
●       Exceptional attention to detail even when juggling multiple tasks.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
●       Experience in education or nonprofit sector.
●       Familiarity with Salesforce and Monday.com.
●       Background in managing consultancy relationships.
●       Experience with grant tracking and reporting.
 
This is a full-time remote position working Monday – Friday. Compensation for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 and is commensurate with experience including a competitive benefits package. This is a philanthropic grant-funded position with funding in place.
 
The Southern Education Foundation is an Atlanta based organization with a national presence. For candidates based in Atlanta, employees are currently working a hybrid schedule including working remotely and, in the office, based on the needs of the business. For candidates based outside of Atlanta, this is a remote-only position with potential of travel to Atlanta and with approved company expenses paid for.
